Early and continuous involvement opportunities for the development of the Oahu Regional Transportation Plan (ORTP), Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and Overall Work Program (OWP) are offered through the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) – the OahuMPO’s public involvement foundation. The development of each of these documents and the Participation Plan procedures used are illustrated in the figures:
A public review period for the development of each of these three documents is announced at meetings of the CAC and on OahuMPO website. Additionally, public testimony is accepted at the OahuMPO Policy Committee meetings, prior to action by the Policy Committee.
