The Transportation Project Management Training Program is almost finished! The latest session was held this past Friday, September 22, and included sessions on mode split, purchasing requirements, and examples of federally funded projects being built on Kauai. We also received a presentation from UH researchers who will be conducting an evaluation of the upcoming mobile workshop to Seattle and Portland that will take place next week. 20 out of the 30 students are expecting to join us on the mobile workshop, where we will be meeting with peers and officials from Washington and Oregon and viewing examples of federally funded multimodal transportation projects in Seattle and Portland.
