Policy Board
The OahuMPO is governed by the Policy Board, which is the official decision-making body. The Policy Board decides which transportation projects receive federal funding on Oahu.

Membership
The voting members of the Policy Board include two State Senators, two State Representatives, three City Councilmembers, the Hawaii Department of Transportation Director, the City Department of Transportation Services Director, the City Department of Planning and Permitting Director, and the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation Director.
The non-voting members include the Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration Hawaii Division Office, the Director of the State Department of Health, and the Director of the State Office of Planning.
The current Policy Board Chair is State Representative Darius K. Kila and the Vice Chair is Councilmember Val Okimoto.
